Swiss-based hedge fund manager Guy Spier recently wrote an interesting book entitled, “The Education of a Value Investor.” The book is an account of how Guy has evolved both as a person and as a money manager throughout his career. A large portion of the book focuses on how investors can structure their environment in order to minimize the common mistakes that he believes humans are genetically wired to make. Guy presents a set of rules long-term investors should follow that he believes will increase their chance of generating satisfactory long term returns.
Guy was kind enough to share with our readers an excerpt from this recently released book. Please click here to read further.
